After completing a Level Three Extended Diploma in Animal Management, I went on to work at a veterinary surgery in Bournemouth. This gave me an insight into veterinary nursing and I enjoyed assisting owners with weight loss programmes for their animals.
During this time I was volunteering at a hydrotherapy centre and realised this is the career path for me. Since I qualified as a hydrotherapist in 2014, I have been working at Springbok Hydrotherapy Centre as a hydrotherapist.
I love interacting with patients and firsthand seeing the benefits of the personalised rehabilitation programme put in place for each animal. I have a keen interest in feline rehabilitation and a vast experience acclimatising them to hydrotherapy.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family, especially my two Shelties, Shanti and Starre, and my one cat, KitKat.
I started studying hydrotherapy while living in New Zealand. During my two years in New Zealand, I gathered a wide range of knowledge and techniques used in other parts of the world.
Once back in the UK, I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Animal Hydrotherapy and has since been working as a qualified hydrotherapist.
I love meeting dogs, watching their progress throughout their sessions and getting to know their individual personalities and quirks.
I have a huge passion for travelling and travel the world alongside my Rottweiler, Mylo, whenever I have time. I am also a bit of an adrenaline junkie and love snowboarding.
